The VANGUARD 2.0 Hybrid Epic Paddle has a longer handle to comfortably allow two handed backhands, it also helps people with larger hands. This is accomplished without reducing the size of its sweet spot. This VANGUARD 2.0 Epic has the same dimensions as the original Amped or Prime series Epic models, with the added kick given to its design by the graphics, edge guard and grip. The surface is made of cross woven carbon fibers with double layers on each side of the paddle. This provides exceptional consistency of ball rebound over the entire surface of the paddle, amazing durability and an unsurpassed feel for the ball. Combined with the thick X5 polypropylene core, it provides shock absorption for a smooth touch.
