The Gearbox CX14E Ultimate is a stable, carbon fiber paddle with a thick core. It is designed for players who want to upgrade to Gearbox's Solid Span Technology (SST) core to improve their power.

The innovation of the Ultimate Power Series is Hyper-Bite 2.0 technology, Gearbox has revamped its SST core and 3K carbon fiber face to add a noticeable level of power to this 14mm thick core paddle. Further engineering was used to absorb impact vibrations, limit the paddle's torsion and make it quieter.

The "E" stands for extended, referring to the 42,23cm (16 5/8") long by 18,73cm (7 3/8") wide shape. The average weight is 241 grammes (8,5 oz). The 14,29cm (5 5/8") long handle encourages powerful two-handed backhands. It is wrapped in a Gearbox Smooth Wrap grip and comes in two circumferences 9,21cm (3 5/8") and 10cm (3 15/16").

The highlight of the CX14 range is the 14mm Solid Span Technology (SST) core. This is the same material as the CX11, but with a 3mm thickness that offers a softer feel and more stability.

The core is composed of heat-sealed T-700 graphite chambers, creating a one-piece paddle that improves durability and longevity.
